The Stauning Kaos Triple Malt Danish Whisky is a unique and delicious whisky from Denmark’s Stauning Distillery. It is composed of a blend of three different malts, all of which are distilled from barley grown in the region around the distillery. The whisky is then aged in ex-bourbon casks for five years, before being bottled at 46% ABV. On the nose, the whisky offers up aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla, oak, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, the whisky is smooth and creamy, with notes of toffee, caramel, oak, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness. This is an excellent whisky, and an excellent example of Danish whisky.
